Some thoughts about the new microsoft outlook.com

Ok. I am really frustrated and I am mainly writing this shitty post to copy paste it in the Microsoft forums.

So, you have logged in into your hotmail inbox and you have tried the new outlook.com interface. Too late to be sorry and go back to the old hotmail because Microsoft removed the option.

However let's see the bright side. Nice cut, faster interface than the previous shit. BUT you have to accept the fact that it will automatically login to live messenger every fucking time you load your mail. Oh thank you Microsoft!

You can be "invisible" you say. Try to hit that button, it will make you invisible also in live messenger's client if you are signed in. Oh but there is a solution. If you do the status changes in outlook.com and your client in the right order you will have no problem...

I am one of this guys that have more important stuff to do than thinking of the correct way in order to OPEN MY FUCKING MAIL AND INSTANT MESSENGER.

Then it comes another solution... Null route the webmail's messenger service by altering your hosts file. Ok fair enough, if Microsoft designers / developers can't make a "sign off web messenger" button I guess that provides a descent solution for a messaging service in 2013...

But hey. Let's say you are some dump fuck that actually wants to use the live messenger with the web interface. I can dig into that, sometimes I use it too. So you think that everything will be working fine? I mean they force you to use it so what can be wrong?!

Think twice. Some genius from hotmail had a really nice thought. Let's show to you ONLY the available contacts on your live messenger's list, not the busy, not the away, ONLY the contacts who have status "available"....

Ok, if we sit back and think about this moronic situation we can realize two things:
  1. Probably the designers / developers of outlook.com live messenger have never used live messenger before. Thumbs up.
  2. You deserve not having the ability to talk to away / busy contacts because you are a fucking asshole and you chose live messenger in the first place.
In conclusion. I have really seen TONS of shitty changes in the hotmail and live messenger environment across the years and I really feel hardcore (or stupid as some people might say) because I continue to use that shit. But now.... I mean come on... WHAT THE FUCK!?
